Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
living will
I had to sign off on a will. I asked to see a copy of the will. They refused to show me the will. Is that Illegal?

Re: living will
I assume that you were a witness to a will. All the testator was required to do was to let you know that you were signing his/her will, and nothing more. You were witnessing his/her signature on the will, not the content.
