manager said they would pay for ambulance and now deny it
Hi sorry if this is posted in the wrong law area. what can i do?I was working at a electronics retail store back in oct 22 2007 when the fires were here. the store became filled with smoke and i was at the back of the store in the break room and the smoke started to get to me. i had a asthma attack and was starting to feel faint and sick.my manager said are you ok and i said i need to go home i don't feel well.he said well lets talk to the store manager and we'll see. we talked to the store manager and he said no i couldn't go home.i almost passed out and wasn't doing good at all and they decided to call an ambulance.the ambulance got there and i denied medical treatment as i did not have medical innsurance and just wanted to go home and get out of the smoke.the ambulance couldnt treat me till i agreed.the store manager and other employees were yelling at me to let the ambulance do their job.the store manager said that they would pay for everything so i agreed to get treated and went to the hospital.now my work isn't paying for it and they are sticking me with the bill.the manager's and employees when i returned were unfair and i heard them say i just did that to get out of work and they treated me different after that.

You need legal representation to send them a demand letter reminding them of their responsibility to pay. if you would like our office to represent you in this, feel free to contact us.
