The hospital employee's overtures toward your wife were inappropriate, and maybe if you write to the hospital they will fire him, but there's not much else you can do.
Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility category is about the rules of ethics and professional conduct, and related provisions of the Business and Professions code, governing the conduct of lawyers, not mental hospitals. You need to re-ask your question in an appropriate category.
I agree with Mr. McCormick. This is the category for people to seek advice about the ethics and rules regarding attorneys, not hospitals. We're not trying to be rude, and a lot of people get this category confused. Posting in the wrong category creates confusion for others, who search the archives looking for specific information relating to their problem.
Sounds like the hospital staff may have violated rules about relationships between medical personnel and patients, which can form the basis of a negligence claim. You do have a case, but will have to prove your damages.
