Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California
Who would you take fiduciary case to for next level?
A trustee who is an attorney has taken advantage of our family and to deflect attention from himself, is attacking the family. We are working to resolve and want to speak to an Assemblyperson or higher up, Attorney General, or other. While the legal process is taking years, we want to pick up the phone and reach someone to tell them what happened. Can you please let us know who you recommend in Los Angeles who takes an interest in fiduciary abuse, that can take another look at this? If you would be so kind as to offer a few suggestions of a representative, or an organization that can accomplish something, or an Assemblyperson who has supported legislation to protect people from predatory trustees or conservators, we would be grateful. A few names is all we are asking for, that can make a difference. If you don't wish to place--name removed--whole recommendation in the public reply, please write back ASAP, and we will contact you privately. Thank you!

Re: Who would you take fiduciary case to for next level?
Unfortunately, I cannot advance a name in L.A., because I am in Kern County, approximately 120 miles North.
Having been faced with similar situations here, I have taken it to all four congressional representatives, two congressmen, and our 2
female senators.
I was amazed at the promptness, pressure, and success by the two Congressional gentlemen (one
Democratic and one Republican ) while no response from the Senators.
I suggest you write to all your congressmen and see who responds. (I got zero response from one senator and a generic response from the other about 6 weeks later.
If this doesn't work, write or call me, and we'll figure out something else.
Good luck!
