Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

Legal Malpractice

I need help finding a lawyer for family malpractice case. My attorney failed to file paperwork, I've redone forms 3x but my husband's attorney hasn't received anything. I say my husband, because we aren't divorced. I've been asking him to be restored for about 6 months. He hasn't filed the paperwork, and there was no financial/property/debt at all. Just a single status. He has been saying 2 months, now he is saying 6 months, and he says that the other attorney won't contact him. I had to hire another attorney, who contacted his attorney an hour after I hired her, then twice the next day. Also, my new attorney found out that there was a letter sent to my former attorney that had information that would have allowed me to see my daughter. I haven't seen her in 5 months, and I would call and ask, and he said he was working on it. Then he called last month asking if I was visiting my daughter. I said no because the mediation orders had him supervising the visits after multiple domestic violence allegations. He said too bad, I begged him to figure it out, he said no. Months ago the other attorney was agreeable to another attorney. I was never told. I given him thousands, I'm not divorced, in debt, and don't see my daughter. What is this
