Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Back pain due to injection

I was given an injection for a migraine headache. There was a little bruising where (hip area) I was given the shot. The next day I had terrible back pain and a lump where I was given the shot. According to the doctors my muscle bled when I was injected and there was some bruising and swelling on the inside too, which is pressing against nerves and muscles and causing the pain. I have fibromyalgia and the pain has be excrutiating for 2 weeks. I have seen doctors, am taking medication and I'm still in pain. Is there something I can do legally?

Re: Back pain due to injection

At this stage you have no injury worth pursuing legally. Small claims is all but unavailable for medical malpractice due to the necessity of having expert testimony establish the facts.
