Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

I found out this week that my Dr operated twice on my back based on a discogram that stated pain at level L 4-5. How ever he told me the pain was at L 5- S1. This eventually led to 2 surgeries and only when I did not improve from either did i review all the medical reports and discover his error. He admitts to the error and now wishes to operate on the correct disk, What kind of attourney should I contact and does it sound like a good case for malpractice.

A medical malpractice attorney. However, you must have a 'testifying expert' doctor prepared to say there was malpractice. Neither your opinion nor mine matter; and I doubt the treating doctor will admit to malpractice nor that he said anything to you. So, if you can get such expert opinion, then yes, it sounds like a good case, with 'good' damages. If serious about pursuing this, feel free to contact me.
