Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Is there a Law suit?

We are not sure what to do after my husbands unfortunate results from what was supposed to be out patient or same day surgery for kidney stones, instead the annistesiologist almost stopped his heart (bp was 60 over 40) due to blood pressure was at first ''too high'' so he lowered it/ alot. Then he attempted to ''bump it back up with a synthetic adrenaline, with no response. The procedure was halted and my husband was then not going home that same day, instead he was in the cardio/ICU being fed a clear liquid diet and tested vitals every 1/2 hour. No doctor ever came to explain what was going on, what happened or why he was staying the night, or why the kidney stone procedure was stopped. After being handed from each shift to the next with no answers, my husband demanded to be discharged and have a stress test done at a doctors office. He did and the cardiologist said he was in fine condition for his needed kidney procedure to take place once again. He also said that the annesticiologist make mistakes and should have not attempted what he did while my husband was not awake. The doctor preforming the procedure for the stone removal also agreed to this. What are the legal rights of my husband in this matter?

Re: Is there a Law suit?

IF you have a doctor willing to testify that there was medical negligence, and that it caused actual damage, then you have grounds to claim and sue. What are your damages other than delay in procedure and some extra expenses? No medical damage, no worthwhile case.
