mom health decreasing after sugery

My mom was in great health. After laser sugery involving golstones, she began to bleed internally and went into a coma for 3 weeks. She has not been the same since. This sugery was performed January 16, 2004 and 2 months after she came from the hospital. She began to have muscle spasms and she changed doctors. She new took X-rays and said that she had a ''severe'' sugery. In the meantime her health is going for the worst and I am concerned. We i spoke with the health insurance company, they stated that the doctor is known as a meat doctor. I attempted to locate articles or cases involving this doctor and there was no findngs. Nothing found on the medical board sites either. Please help! I am fustrated and concerned. When i went to pick up my mom from the doctor, her blood pressure was leaking air and the pulse machine was not working. The oxygen tank had a hissing sound coming from it and no air was getting to my mother. I had documentation but no photos. It is concerning because she is getting worse. The day I went to pick up and saw all of this I had to get a nurse and she stayed in the comma at that point. The asked me to pull the plug but was unwilling to do that, didnt think it was needed because she was fine before this.

You are describing a medical malpractice case that is running quickly out of time and statute of limitations. You have to promptly serve notice of intent to sue on the doctors and hospitals involved, and then follow up with suit. You will need experienced counsel to do so unless you are qualified to deal with the defense attorneys in court yourself. You must immediately obtain a doctor's opinion that this appears to be medical negligence -- you CAN NOT proceed in a suit without it, nor can you win without expert testimony from doctors.
