Closure? Any claim of medical malpractice must be brought within one year of the negligence causing damage. In your case, the statute began running upon the death more than a year ago, or at the very latest it would begin running upon you learning or believing there was any negligence that led to the death. Sounds like you need to put this behind you know, and focus instead on the living.
