Dangerous Object Found in Food

We found a broken razor blade food at a restaurant owned by a large chain. What is reasonable restitution for something like this?

This is an impossible question to answer given the limited facts provided. Was anyone hurt or otherwise affected? Has the restaurant acknowledged responsibility? If the answers to these questions is in the affirmative, I recommend that you consult a local personal injury attorney.

Your question doesn't say the blade hurt anyone. If no one was physically or emotionally injured there is no reason the restaurant should pay restitution. It should probably have comped the meal but that is not something the law requires.

Nothing, unless there were damages.

If you weren't injured, nothing. If you were injured and can overcome the store's suspicion that you 'planted' the item fraudulently, then your doctor bills should be paid.
