homeowners insurance policy

Would a homeowners insurance policy cover the policy holder if he left his residence & comitted battery at the home of this other person on this person?

Liability insurance does not cover intentional wrongdoing by the policyholder. By definition, a battery is intentional. A lawsuit that alleges only battery would not be covered. If the lawsuit alleges other causes of action, though, it might be.

No. Plus, no insurance covers intentional torts or crimes.

Probably not. A Battery is an intentional crime or tort and insurance policies and state law say that the policies will not cover intentional or purposeful acts.
