Were you injured? If so, you are entitled to your medical expenses, lost wages & pain and suffering and possibly more. If you would like a free consultation, please feel free to contact our office.

I need to know a lot more to help you. I need to know your medical bills total, your prognosis, was it your dominant hand, what do you do for a living, have you missed work, . . . If the accident only happened a week ago and you are seriously injured, why are you trying to settle it so quickly. You need a lawyer so you won't get "screwed."

You're 'entitled' to whatever you can negotiate with them. If you suffered serious damage, permanent injury, disability, etc., then it is worth more than for a little transient pain and a band aid. The amount of your medical bills and provable lost wages are important factors in determining value. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting counsel if you've been seriously injured.
Re: injured at costco warehouse
Most of what Ive read here is correct, if your injury requires treatment, you'll want to wait until completed to attempt to settle the matter. My experience is that these matters go much smoother and are more fully compensated when you have an attorney, even after the fee.

Re: injured at costco warehouse
You are very likely entitled to some kind of relief. However, to make sure that you recover what you are justly entitled to receive, you should hire a lawyer to negotiate on your behalf. On a case like this, you will not be charged any fees or any costs unless you recover something.

You can get as much as negotiation may bring you. I have handled personal injuries such as wrist injuries against major entities. Please let me know if you want me to negotiate this for you.

Re: injured at costco warehouse
Sorry to read about the accident.
Serveral considerations:
1. What are tne nature and extent of your insuries?
2. Are they permanent injuries?
3. What you do for a living is important as well as if you're left or right-hand dominant.
4. Be reminded of the legal time limits to file a lawsuit, in the event it's necessary, which is generally 2 years from the date of the incident. However, there are several exceptions which may make this time limit shorter. Therefore, it is suggested you try to obtain legal reprsenstation ASAP.
All the best.

Re: injured at costco warehouse
In California, fair compensation for injuries includes money for both economic and non-economic damages. Economic damages are loss of income, medical expenses, and other out-of-pocket expenses. Non-economic damages include pain, suffering, inconvenience, disfigurement, and the like. The largest portion of a claim is usually for the non-economic damages, for which the fair amount always depends on the specific effects of the injury on the victim's lifestyle. One way to measure is to look at the amount that others have obtained for similar injuries. Our office has this data and we have successfully negotiated hand injury claims.

Re: injured at costco warehouse
Your settlement amount will depend on the nature and extent of your injury, lost earnings, medical bills and finally, causation. Although on its face causation seems clear, there may be a component of contributory negligence. Please feel free to contact my office at 818.385.0520 to set up a free consultation.
