Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was injuried in 2008 at ballys gym which required me to have surgery on my knee. I am stilling having problems with my knee which requires me to go back to the orthopedics. This is also interfering with my job. Can I sue for I juries

The statute of limitations is two years from the date of the accident. If you neither settled the case nor filed a lawsuit before that time, you have lost all rights to sue.

In addition to Mr. Stone-Molloy's response, did Bally's do anyting wrong? Just because an individual is hurt on someone's property doesn't mean the property owner is responsible.
