Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
Can you take legal action against an anesthesiologist for incorrectly doing an epidural four times and causing severe back pain?

Yes. That doesn't necessarily mean you will win, since the problems weren't necessarily the doctor's fault. But your case has potential. You should meet with some local medical malpractice attorneys to find out more about your prospects.
Good luck.
CAN you?
Sure.
IF you are timely in filing your claim.
Can you win?
That all depends.
Maybe. IF you have expert medical testimony available saying that this was negligence / malpractice and that the negligence caused legally recognizable damages. Understand please, that neither your opinion, nor mine, counts. Only the doctor's does.
If you think you can qualify by being able to satisfy those requirements, and If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help fight and get the best outcome possible.
If your damages are limited to only causing pain and nothing else you will not find any lawyer that knows what he or she is doing to take your case. If however, you have permanent nerve damage or some other significant problem as a result of it then that's a different issue.
