liability due to gross negligence pass to the new property owners in the case of

My RV was broken into and vandalized. Articles of value were stolen. During this period, the storage business was sold. Does the liability for the event transfer to the new owners?

It depends. Probably the same insurance company covers the new owners.

It depends on how the sale of the business was conducted. It also depends on who had the risk of loss at the time of the vandalism. Do you have a written agreement with the storage facility? Has there been prior incidents of theft and/or vandalism?

I would be very surprised if the storage facility has any responsibility. Check your contract. It may all fall on your own shoulders unless facts, conduct shows gross negligence, etc., falling outside contract. Need to review all docs and info before I can answer your questions.
