Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
Personal/company liability
I am interested in teaching one-on-one and small group novice, intermediate, and advanced motorcycle riding on public roads. The students would already have passed the motorcycle test and would be riding their own motorcycles. What would my liability concerns be and how could I protect myself from such?

As a long time rider, I understand and agree that you would have serious liability concerns, which you should address by incorporating the business, and with substantial insurance and detailed student waivers/releases. Contact me if interested in doing this right.

I like the attorney who already responded am a serious rider as well, and handle motorcycle cases regularly.
I agree that you should incorporate, get substantial insurance, and prepare fail safe waiver forms for your students to sign.
Even with all of the above, there are some risk, however with the right insurance you should be ok. If you want to discuss this more give me a call.
