Can you Sue A School District

Can you Sue a School district if your childs gets hurt while playing a school sport. My daughter pulled her arm out of socket while pitching and she needed surgery. Now she in in rehab and missing her first year of softball in College

Yes. Within the 1st six months you must file a governmental entity claim with the school district (form generally available from the same source). If the claim is denied, you then have the right to sue. Suit will require you to retain an attorney.

Yes, if they did something wrong.

Remember, a valid and proper form/claim must be submitted within 6 months.

What Mr. Boyd says is true. But taking it one step further, what is your theory of the district's liability? That your daughter was peculiarly fragile and shouldn't have been made to throw a softball, especially if that's what she wants to pursue in college? I don't get it.
