Re: suing

You do have a right to sue. You may have to prove the grandmother knew or should have known that the grandson was dangerous. You need to seek the advise of an attorney who specializes in personal injury. You also do not indicate when this occurred. There are Statutes of limitations that you need to be aware of. I do not know what area you live in, but we would be happy to help.

Re: suing

I strongly suggest make a claim against the homeowner's insurance. Get more information about that teen's parents as well. Feel free to call me at 213-479-8349

Re: suing

If your son is a minor as implied, he may sue the molester and the parents/ legal guardians/ homeowner. He doesn't sue the insurance company, he sues the people. As a minor he must do so through his own Parent/Guardian [you] appointed by the court at the time the case is filed. There is no insurance coverage available for criminal acts, but negligence claims can invoke the insurance coverage if there is any. Contact me if interested in pursuing litigation.

Re: suing

Being the father of five small children I AM very much willing to take this matter on a contingency basis regardless of what part of California as I have cases pending in several counties now. You need to file a complaint of course, but do not do this without representation. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
