Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
My wife and I were chased by another motorist after he "thought" he was cut off. He yelled that he was going to kill us and changeds his direction to follow us. As we were at the next red light he got out of the truck and acted like he was coming for us. the light turned green, he continued to follow us for another mile, yelling various threarts out the window the whole time, until we were able to lose him. The Truck he was driving had the name and address of the furniture company he worked for. He appeared to be a delivery driver. Do we have any recourse?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Call the company and complain. Get his name and address and sue both him and his company for the emotional distress that he caused you. The company may however be able to avoid liability because it was an intentional action unless they had reason to know if his bad temper.
Good Luck.
