Woman leaves scene after hitting me on bicycle but first calls 911 from cell
a young woman hit me on my bicycle in her car and knocked me for a loop causing a clavicle fracture. When she got out to talk to me her mother whom was behind her in a different vehicle jumped out told her to shut up get in the car and proceeded to tell me what a good acrobat i was. i was in pain and disoriented .she called 911 from her cell phone and i sat down on sidewalk. the girl and her mother left the scene and i waited for an hour but police did not show. a friend then took me to the hospital.I made a police report and asked why no police showed. they had but it was later. however woman made call from her cell and i had the 911 office research and discover her cell. she had also stated to the dispatcher she had a fender bender with a vehicle that so happened to be the same color as my bike. Now i have the tape where do i go from here.to police ?or my lawyer.i also have not been able to go to rehabilitation therapy due to no insurance to bill.

Are you already represented by an attorney? If so, you should definately give the info to him/her. Also, many medical providers will provide treatment on a lien, meaning that they will be paid from the proceeds from a lawsuit. Do you have the cell phone information for the driver? Just the number? Or the name?

If you have an attorney, give this information to your attorney and let his/her investigator deal with this. If you do not have an attorney, find someone to deal with this. This is beyond what most people should deal with without legal help.

You were not completely clear as to whether or not you are represented by an attorney. If so, sumbit what ever information that you have to him/her. If you are not represented, you should hire an attorney as this matter involves complex issues that few are able to handle on their own. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
