1st Case Management Conference
I received a summons for a ''partition sale''. I have 30 days to responde and 15 days to the Case Management Hearing. However, I did not receive the summons for me to respond in time for the Case Management Hearing. Now what do I do....

You hire a lawyer and respond within 30 days. Let the lawyer you hire deal with the Case Management hearing and everything else. Leave the driving to us.

Either try to get out, settle, or go to trial.
If you haven't already been defaulted, file your Answer or appropriate pleadings opposition motion with the court, to get into the case and avoid a default judgment against you.
If there is already a default against you, then you'll have to try to file a motion to set aside the default, using whatever legal and factual support you have.

You need to hire a lawyer today to try to avoid default. One day may make a difference between losing the entire case. I do not know if you are in the bay area, or what your goals and interest in the property are, but you may email me to discuss.
