Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

3 years ago I put up a vinyl fence with the permission of the prior owner who has since passed away. New owners moved in a year ago and want to move my fence. She said it is on her property. She tells me her contractor agrees with her that the fence is on her property. She informs me that in two weeks she is going to have my fence moved. Can she legal move my fence without my permission? I told her she needs to get a California land surver to assess the property. But she plans to move my fence anyway. What can I do to stop her? I can't afford a surver.

Either resolve it among yourselves, or you can file legal action to get a restraining order, force a survey and seek a court order settling the dispute. If it is worth it to you to hire an attorney to do so, feel free to contact me. Your problem is the cost of attorneys, and the cost of surveys if you lose because the fence really is on the other property.
