define busines hours in ca

Tennant refuses to let landlord show property on weekends. States he will only permit showings Mon- Fri during "normal" business hours. What are considered normal business hours and can he deny access on the weekend.

Tenant is probably technically correct. See http://www.caltenantlaw.com/Privacy.htm

Normal business hours are generally considered 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Tenant can not deny weekend access. The landlord can give at least 24 hour written notice of intent to show, at normal day hours, say from 8am to 7pm as reasonable.
