Im about to be evicted but have the money to pay off past rent. What can I do?

The only thing you can do is try to convince the landlord to accept the rent and let you stay, but unless you can come up with a good reason for not paying your rent and why he should trust you to pay in the future, at best he will take your money and then give yo a thirty day notice to vacate.

Once you blow past the 3-day notice to pay or quit, it is entirely up to the landlord's discretion as to whether they will allow you to reinstate the tenancy.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. What you can do depends on where you are with respect to the eviction time line. If you are served with a three day pay or quit, you can cure your default up until the time it expires. After that, it is up to the landlord.
