Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Eviction

My parents have been renting their home to a family of three adults. The home is still under my parents name and are still paying for it. The tenants claim the home is in foreclosure. Now, they will not leave and my parents have tried numerous occasions to coaporate with them on such matter. The tenants state that they will not leave the property until February or even later. My parents have mailed a notice to them stating that they are to vacate the property by that time. Is this the correct procedure my parents should have taken in this matter?

Re: Eviction

Have your parents hire an eviction 'service' to do this for a few hundred dollars, they're wasting their time and money doing it themselves without knowing the rules. It is a technical process that must be followed precisely.
