Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

inheritance

my sister was married, her husband died, he has a son, during their marriage they bought a house in her husband's sole name. She signed a waiver that the house is his own property, although the down payment of 20% was taken from their joined account and some of the monthly mortgages were taken from their joint account. now after he died does she inherit the house? Does she share it with his son?or because she signed the waiver she's not getting anything. She lives in the state of california.

Re: inheritance

She has a valid legal claim, but also a fight on her hands, to overcome the waiver document she signed. If the house is in SoCAL, and the equity in the house is sufficient to justify spending attorney fees in the fight to get her share, then have her contact me to discuss the process. Time is of the essence here, no delays.
