Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Judgement Small claims (maxium &)
I have 2 judgments (one lrg thru real estate mediation/court & the maxium award at small claims) in my favor but my CA ex realtor is not co operating (I've sent him letters emails long before (2-3 yrs) we had gone to mediation & purposely has blown me off)...actually..there's no contact from him...he knows where to reach us. He's even changed one of his properties in his sons name. His son got hired a few months ago in the same branch he banks with. So I'm afriad he's been doing things to hide his money. Without going into all the hurt he's done to us...he's a real scammer (attorneys, everyone etc) can't believe the thin line he crosses. How can my husband and I find out where all his assets (cash) is at? He also has 13+ (or more) apt complexes in New mexico and an office in one of them. He paid some girl to manage them. Is there a long arms statute that can be applied or used in a way to benefit me?He's taken his equity out of his home & properties here in So Cal. Said he has max out his credit cards of 100k (he could of pulled that $ to show he maxed out)because we have caught him in many lies before. What is your suggestion?

Re: Judgement Small claims (maxium &)
Suggestion? Either study and learn how to collect judgments yourself without violating the law, or turn them over to a professional collection firm or attorney. You've got a lot of rules and procedures to learn if you intend to do this yourself. The longer you wait, the more likely you will fail to find any assets you can reach.
