I am leasing a apparment was given a notification to remove my belongings from the garage area by the thirdy of august I was ill and could not move my stuff. Can I ask were they toke my stuff? Can I get my new stuff back?

You can always ask. In this case, the must retain your belongings until it is clear you have abandoned them. They may try to charge you some storage but tell them you were sick [I hope you called to tell them] and did not know until now that you could get the items back. And if they did not rent out normally the space they put your stuff in what did they loss by storing it?

You should be able to get them back; there is a procedure the landlord must follow, but not all do.
