Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I lent $5600 to my ex with cash. We didn't write any paper works. And he seems like he is not gonna pay me back. Is there any way that i can get my money back from him? Also he kicked my car's front window when he was mad at me, and broke it. Is there any way that i can make him pay money to fix it?

You can take him to small claims court for both matters. Good luck proving the oral agreement to pay $5600, you'll need it. Remember emails, text messages and voice mails can possibly be "writings" that would be evidence of the debt.
Yes to both; read up on small claims court procedures (recommended: Nolo Press' book "Everybody's Guide to Small Claims Court in California"). As far as proof goes, did you disburse the money to him by check? The endorsed and canceled check should be of some value as evidence.
