Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I am living in a mobile home on the property where I work. The mobile home is considered part of my pay. On July 20th, I was fired and asked to vacate and I was given one week to do so. The other thing is that I spent 3 months fixing the place to make it habitable. They supplied most of the materials, but I also have about $2,000 dollars of my money tied up in it because I thought I would be living there more than 2 months. Can they legally give me only one week to vacate?

Yes. They are only required to provide a 'reasonable' time to do so, and a week probably falls within that definition. You can always try to negotiate for more time, and theoretically fight the eviction, which would give you more time, but at the risk of incurring a judgment against you, and damaging your credit record and ability to ever rent somewhere else. You could raise the repair cost in that eviction case. Without an eviction case, you could make a claim for the cost of repairs, even by filing a small claims case if necessary, but that does not change their right to evict.
