Sure. Look at legal zoom. But keep in mind that you get what you pay for. If you want an effective estate plan that properly reflects your personal wishes, and that provides effective tax planning and protection for your family, you should seek a good estate planning attorney. The smallest error can be extremely expensive. For example, my father wrote his own will. He gave the house to my mother "as long as she shall live". Unfortunately ,when she wanted to sell it, this language prevented her from doing so without a major court battle. Also, if you fail to get property titled in the trust name correctly, you will still need to go to probate. These are only basic examples of how a small error can cause great problems and lots of attorney fees. The few dollars you save now, may be lost many fold by errors you may never know about.
Still want to take the risk, fill out the legal zoom forms, and hope they correctly state your objectives. It's your family.
This is a stupid question. It is a stupid question because I have no knowledge of your abilities, your education, or what you plan to do. I had someone who I had attempted to help on Lawguru the other day who did not understand that the word "both" meant two, and not one.
Sure if you know what you are doing, and know all the issues and details that must be included. Otherwise pay an expert to do it right so it isn't defective and fails to survive examination after death. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this feel free to contact me.
