Do I have to pay property taxes on a commercial building when leasing?

Depends on how the deal is structured. But it's just a question of paying them yourself or having the landlord pay them. .
Commercial leases are of many kinds ...... some resembling residential or apartment leases, others much more sophisticated and designed to take the owner out of nearly all aspects of routine management of the property, making it an inactive investor and making the tenant responsible for items such as property taxes (so-called "triple net" leases). One way or another, the tenant will be paying the property taxes as well as other ownership and maintenance costs. The real issue is whether the tenant writes a check to the county, or whether the tax burden is bundled into the rent. .
read your lease, some may require you pay to the landlord the amount of the taxes. It was all negotiable before you signed the lease, not later.
