Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

We need a Power of Attorney over our mother's property (whihc she agrees to) not to sell her property but to allow us power of attorney to clean up her yard, to order other family members to remove their old vehicles that they have dumped of in her yard and have refused to move them. Would the General Power of Attorney work?

You could use the "Uniform Statutory Form Power of Attorney" provided for and described in the Probate Code - see sections 4400-4465 and, in particular, Probate Code sections 4401 and 4402. Note that the form has lines (A) through (N) specifying particular powers, which can be initialed to grant those particular powers; also a "special instructions" section which can be filled in. Choose the appropriate categories carefully, and/or write in specific instructions.

Yes, just properly and accurately fill in the 'purpose' and 'power' section.
