Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I recently bought a home with my wife. Less then 1 week after I moved in I found a slab leak that was clearly something that has been happening for a while. What are my legal options to recover loss for this undisclosed issue? What legal responsibility does my agent have in protecting me from this type of incident? I have good reason to suspect that the sellers agent knew of an issue with the plumbing, can I include her or her firm in any actions taken?

You get to make a claim on the sellers and their agents, and/or on your insurance company, followed up with a lawsuit if not settled. Your agent shouldn't be liable unless you can show he knew of the problem, or could have discovered it with appropriate walk through type inspection, the same as you could have. He is entitled to rely on the same disclosure documents you are.
