Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Return of real property

I just got an anullment. My ex recorded quitclaim deeds to put the property in his name by fraud and forgery. The judgement states so. It also states that all quitclaim deeds transferring the property from my name are cancelled and rescinded. How do I go about getting the property back in my name? Do I record the judgement, or? Can I get the increase in property taxes reimbursed? Thank You

Re: Return of real property

I would need to discuss your facts. You may have to file a quiet title action in court, or come to an agreement whereby he will cooperate in transferring the property by grant deed.

You need court orders instructing the various parties and agencies to do so, with specific court approval of documents to be filed. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting counsel to help you, if the case is in SoCAL courts.
