Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Claims of harassment revealed

I am a supervisor. An employee claimed sexual harassment. My employer investigated (no gross misconduct, just someone feeling ''uncomfortable''), counceled me regarding the alegations and removed two employees from my supervision. During the process, word got out that I was being investigated. This is potentially damaging to my career. Does my employer have an obligation to keep the investigation confidential? I beleive the information came from my supervisor. Do I have recourse?

Re: Claims of harassment revealed

confidentiality is required, but you would have to prove actual disclosure by management, not merely rumors and suspicions spread by the other people involved, their friends, casual observers, etc. If you can, feel free to contact me.
