my friend who works at a sprint store gave her card out to a customer with her cell number for work. the customer then started sending her nude pictures of himself. her husband has deployed to afghanistan and her being alone and harrassed has caused her tons of anxiety and sleeping troubles can she take this to a civil suit and would it even be worth it

A standard civil suit probably isn't worth it unless there's reason to believe the guy has $$$ and she has suffered objective emotional distress symptoms (pretty much you need to be seeing a shrink for it), not just subjective personal upset. However, if he won't stop, a civil harassment restraining order would be worth pursuing. That's a much quicker and simpler procedure.
