Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California
What can i do.
I have a girlfriend of mine that is getting harassed but will only talk to me about it. Example ''you no what you have to do to get that raise.What could me or her do to stop what he is doing.

If there is request for sexual favors on the job, it is sexual discrimination and harassment. She needs to formally complain to the company, demanding remedy and protection. If the company fails to take proper action, she can pursue legal action, but must first file a Charge of Discrimination with the DFEH or EEOC, with the assistance of counsel to make sure it is done correctly. You have a number of options to deal with this conduct. You can file a (preferably written) complaint with the company's HR dept; you can file a complaint with the EEOC or the Cal. Dept. of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH); or you can hire an attorney to write a letter. The only drawback to any of these options is that the employer might unlawfully retaliate against her.
