Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Possible Sexual Harassment Law Suit

I have a question about Sexual Harassment. Ive been working for the same company for over 2 years. During these 2 years I have experienced some sexual harassment. Example One male employee asked me to staple a note to his genital area. Another employee made a sexual comment while rubbing his genitals about me. Most recently an employee made a comment about the size of me breast. These are not the only comments. Ive been asked by an employee to sit on his lap, ect. I feel very unconvertible at work. I continuously feel like everyone is looking and whispering about me. Ive told me boss and he keeps saying that this type of behavior is not tolerated but I know that he never spoke to the first two employees about there comments. The third employee he finally spoke to. I was told that this employee had been reprimanded, although I dont think he really was. What I want to know is do I have a case for Sexual Harassment? I have witnesses to some of the comments as well as written complaints sent to my boss via email.

Re: Possible Sexual Harassment Law Suit

If your employee handbook or memos tell you how to report sexual harassment incident, you should report them to that person or office. You should also document your complaint in writing, and give it to that person or office. It's best to follow proper channels before considering a suit which is no picnic.

If you can prove the facts you allege, yes you have a claim to make. You are supposed to be protected from sexual harassment, and the situation remedied upon your complaint. Contact me to discuss the facts if interested in pursuing it.
