Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Sexual Harassment by several outside sales reps. from one company

I was wondering if I had any sort of case.

We have had some reps. in our office from a vendor we do business with and I have had 2 come on to me. One actually went so far as to ask my boyfreind if he could have me when he didn't want me anymore. The other came onto me on several occasions and the last straw was when my boss signed a contract with him he came over to my desk grouping me asking for a kiss. He felt he deserved a kiss from me to celebrate the signing.

We have informed the Company these men work for of thier behavior. They have informed my boss they do not believe any of the harrasment has happened.

If someone can let me know if I have any recourse at all with a Company who obviously does not train their field reps. in regards to appropriate behavior and sexual harassment or care for that matter.

I have seveal witnesses.

from the facts given so far, you may have a strong case against your employer for sexual harassment-hostile work environmnet if your employer is in the position to prevent this rep from his unwelcomed sexual advances toward you and is not doing anything concrete about it. if you would like further legal assistance and/or representation in this matter, feel free to email me directly with more details and how you might like to see this situation remedied.

Once your company is on notice of the sexual harassment, through your complaints or other evidence, their obligation is to remedy the situation and protect you. If they don't, there may be liability and grounds for a suit. You need to have witnesses and other evidence to prove what you say is true. Call me to discuss if interested in pursuing the case.
