Sexual harassment scared and confused!
Hello,
First you should have a consultation with an experienced employment attorney to discuss specifically the nature of harassment you were subjected to and the exact acts/words of the harasser. Depending upon the strength of your claims and the available evidence, you may be able to be represented by an attorney on a contingency basis or some other arrangement.
Thanks, and feel free to follow up.

What your psychiatrist says is irrelevant and designed to make you feel good. What you can prove in court determines whether you have a case. If you have witnesses or documents or confessions or other evidence to prove ongoing sexual harassment that occurred within the last year, and that the company knew about and failed to remedy, then you may have a case. Before you can file a lawsuit, you must file a Complaint with the EEOC or Dept of Fair Employment and Housing. Do so now. If you've got appropriate evidence, and if you're serious about pursuing a case, feel free to contact me. I've done these cases for over 20 years.

I take sexual harassment cases on a contingency, that means my fees and costs come out of the settlement. I have always recovered money for the client. You have one year from the last harassment to file a complaint with the DFEH. If you have not done so already, I can assist you with preparation or a complaint with the Dept. of Fair Employment and Housing, which is a requirement before filing a complaint with the court.
