Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California
Sexual Harrasment
If I had sexual interactions with the person who is harrasing me, does that make me unable to file a complaint?

Not necessarily, but it does affect the credibility of the complaint. No, still means no. So the legitimacy of your complaint depends on the facts of your situation.
Re: Sexual Harrasment
Voluntary sexual relations are a defense to a claim of 'harassment'. It makes a case harder to prove. IF you have facts and evidence that shows sexual harassment or retaliation after breaking off an affair, you can make a claim, but the burden of proof is on you. If you actually think you are a victim and want to take action, feel free to contact me to discuss your facts.

Please forgive my collegues and their callous responses. Having 18 years experience in such matters, more often than not, physical contact allows for causes of action in battery increasing the value of the claim. Please contact me directly.
