My landlords son in law molested

me (inappropriate touching and

intimidation) and I'm afraid of

eviction if I tell to get him away

from me. What do I do?

Re: sexual misconduct

Remain silent in fear, or report to the police and take action if retaliated against. I'd move if I were you.

Re: sexual misconduct

I'm sorry this happened to you. First thing's first. Nothing is more important than your personal safety and self preservation. Call the police ASAP. File a report. Tell the detective you would like a criminal protective order. At the same time, file for a civil harassment restraining order against the son-in-law. The forms for this are online, but if you would like help for a modest fee call me directly and I will do this for you.

Finally, if the landlord is foolish enough to evict you, then he just made your day since you will be able to file (among other things) a wrongful eviction suit against him or her.

Best of Luck.
