Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California
I keep getting text messages with lewd pictures from a guy and to this day I do not know how he got my phone number. I have told him to stop, but if he sends me another picture can I sue for sexual harassment?

No, sexual harassment is a creature of employment law. You can, however, get a restraining order against him, and may have a cause of action for general civil harassment or stalking. It would be hard to prove much damages though, much less collect them from someone like that. There may also be criminal statutes being violated. You might want to check with the police.
Sure, you can sue for various causes of action, if it is worth the investment of time and money to do so. More reasonably, you can seek a civil Restraining Order against him, which is easier to do. If serious about pursuing this, feel free to contact me.
