Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Tiny Company - Owner is Crude, Lude, and Disgusting

I work in a 4 person Office of 4. The owner has been investigated about child porn on the office computers by the FBI. they raided the office b 4 I started. He is constantly making comments to a 19 y old and myself.

examples: 19 yr old was bubbles. He walked up. He asked her. ''If I change my name to bubbles will you do the same for me?''. Today I was asked where I got my shirt, did it came with those 2 bumps in it.

last week he handed her a porno flyer with Naked crotch shots in it!

If we complain or make demands, we won't have jobs. We plan to ask our fellow officemate to ask him to stop. If this job offers tremendously flexible hours & the opportunity to support myself & my daughter.

The 19 yr old told me today that he is even worse when I am not there. Now I feel like I have to subject myself to more of it in order to protect her from him.

You need to place this person on notice of your displeasure and dissatisfaction with his behavior and direct him to stop. You should also start looking for a new job. Easier to find a job while you are still employed. Then call an attorney to discuss all the facts. 800-685-6950

Someone should have told you long ago that you and the others have the right to sue this employer for sexual harassment and discrimination. contact me if interested in doing so. Employment law has been my specialty for the last 15 years.

All counsel have made wise statements and fully made it clear that you have sex harassment going here. But, this guy is a child porn bust waiting to happen. You don't know what he's doing with those pictures; he could even be selling them on the internet or elsewhere. You and your friends don't want to get caught up in a child porn ring bust. Look for another job immediately. Just walk out if you dare, although you may be walking away from a sex harassment suit if you don't, as others have said, put him on notice, and he does it again.
