Re: veteran service

The employer is required to conduct an investigation into your allegations and come to a conclusion as your allegations. This would include a detailed interview with you and any witnesses to the harassment you can provide as well as doing the same with the alleged harasser.

If the employer ignored your complaint, you may have a claim. Please contact me if you would like assistance in enforcing your rights.

Re: veteran service

IF you can prove your allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace, through witnesses and other credible evidence, then you should pursue your claims. The burden is on you to prove that something improper happened, that it amounts to sexual harassment under the law, and that you complained about it without getting a remedy. If the employer is saying you are delusional and that it didn't happen, then you have an even larger problem of proof than normal. You'll have to be able to convince me, the DFEH and the judge and jury that you AREN'T delusional, and that the employer is making that up to defend themselves. Feel free to contact me for help if you think you can do the above.
