i was injured on the job about 2yrs ago. I applied for SS. I was first thought to have carpal but, it turns out to be carpal and Fibromyalgia. I was denied before the Fibro was diagnosed. I was told that I will finally be getting a hearing. How do I prove my case? Do I have a chance? I have not worked in all this time due mostly to pain and my meds. If I stay on my meds I sleep most of the day away.I can do very little of what I used to do. I am in pain most of the time.

While Fibromyalgia is recognized as a disability by SSA, these claims can be challenging to prove. To prove the claim, you will need to submit updated medical information and preferably a statement from your doctor specifically addressing how this condition affects your ability to perform specific job functions.
