liability timeline
Greg was in an accident 5 months ago. He was at fault, but thew other driver requested that they leave the sceen and not involve law enforcement. They drove to 2nd drivers home and exchanged information. 2nd driver failed to contact Greg for 5 months and now is requesting $3,000 to repair his car. Is it too late for 2nd driver to recover damages? Is Greg off the hook after a certain amount of time?

No. The other driver has three years in which to file a complaint for property damage.
