Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
parking citations
if the officer issues a parking ticket for no obvious
reason (marked tire), can he be charged for
extortion?
within 2 months I received 3 residential parking
tickets. When i got the last one I had prove that I
was in other part of the city shortly before the ticket
was issued. This ticket was dismissed. How
about the other two i do not have an evidence that
I did not violate parking regulations?

Re: parking citations
As far as charging the officer with extortion, that decision can only be made by your local district attorney. You will have to contact their office and arrange to discuss it with them. as far as fighting the tickets, your testimony is evidence and you can defend yourself by testifying to your version of the events.
